We have gathered love poems, poetry, and short stories from our readers, and published them here for the enjoyment of our visitors. We consider this website a work in progress and intend to create a large love poetry, poetry, and short story site that you can visit again and again.

Our love poems in this site are a mixture of classic and contemporary poetry. Included with Lord Byron and Elisabeth Barret Browning are many different types of poems sent to us by our readers. As you sift through our poetry, remember that love is timeless, and no matter when these poems were written, love will always stay the same.
In Loving Memory of Bradley J. Gysland
Back in 1997, Brad and Monique began Gyzmoe's Web Design. In order to prove our proficiency in search engine marketing, we started a poetry website and called it Gyzmoe's Love Poetry and Prose. With five well known love poems and a story Brad had written, we launched the website and allowed any and all comers to submit their own poetry to be posted on our site. Much to our surprise, we had an amazing response from our readers and poems started pouring in by the tens and twenties a day!
Our friend and yours, Brad passed away in January of 2005. He is sorely missed by his close friends and family, and it is in his honor that I've pulled together all the old poetry files and reposted them online.
This is for you, Brad. I'll never forget you.

If you have any concern for my peace of mind, please leave me a comment and let me know how you found the Wiki. I haven't tried to submit it to search engines, so you all have me baffled!
All poems posted here are the sole property of the authors, and cannot be re-used without the author's permission. That includes on your website, profile, blog, wiki, etc. If you want to print a copy to hang on your wall, I'm sure the authors won't mind. If you want to post the poem on your website, please ask for permission. These poems are as much their author's children as a real child. They were sweat over, pondered, written and re-written, let's give the authors the respect they deserve for being willing to share their hard work with us.
By the way, comments with swear words or nastiness will be deleted. This isn't a good place to vent your spleen, please go elsewhere for spleen venting

I cried when I read the poem "powerlessness" because I have been in that same situation too many times. I guess it scared me that all my stupid thoughts involving chemicals took place in somebody elses mind. I'm really glad to say that I don't have to be hopeless anymore and either do you. I guess I am learning that medicating yourself only covers up that fact that you feel a little bit broken on the inside. And in the end you are still broken. My point is (yes I have a point) find out why you are broken instead of trying to cover it up and pretend the problem doesn't excist. Everyone deserves to be whole inside.
