PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Director
June 1997 - Present
Devedia
Coldwater, Michigan
www.devedia.com

Duties include all budgeting, client contact, invoicing, payroll, bookkeeping, website design, web site hosting, web site programming and web site administration. As the owner and director, I manage and maintain our own website as well as the websites for 20 active clients. Devedia primarily functions as a non-disclosure sub-contracting company, providing services not available in-house for smaller firms or supplementing the staff of over-worked larger companies.

Mailing Program

My client needed a program for sending out email marketing to large mailings lists (over 100k per list) and track the results of each email sent. All currently available progams were either pricey or difficult to use.
Achievements: I created a program that far surpasses anything available on the current market for the price range. The program currently sends more than 200,000 emails per hour for opt-in lists in the World wide travel and travel planning market. The Devedia Mailer is the only program used by the client to send emails, track the progress, maintain the mailing lists and prepare and review reports based on the tracking, removals, website links clicked and contact forms filled-out. The program also prepares invoices and reports for sending to their clients after each mailing all while following the Can-Spam guidelines.

Directory Program

My client needed a program to sell listings in a city-wide directory that could be used as a search engine, a "yellow pages" (phone book) and per-company advertisement as well.
Achievement: Created an open ended yellow-pages/directory program with a full web-based administration area used to update client advertisements, all banners and images used on the website, category and listing maintenance and updates. You can see the program running by visiting www.devedia.net. The pay-per listing option is disabled, so the program can run as a human-edited website directory. When run in full payment mode, this program is capable of generating 40k per year at a minimum, with little or no human intervention after configuration.
Possible Uses: This program can be a part of a current web-site, or run fully independant as a complete site, and would be ideal for a large company inter-office directory, a city, county or state local business directory, a Chamber of Commerce business listing, a search engine similar to Dmoz or Yahoo, or a web development resource collection (as it is now).

Director of Project Management
October, 2001 - July 2004
InteractOne, Inc.
4700 Ashwood Drive Suite 145
Cincinnati, Ohio 45241
www.interactone.com

Duties include project budgeting, mentoring of new personnel, monitoring all employees, vendors, contractors and sub-contractors, client contact & support, project development, web site development, website administration, software design & programming, search engine marketing & optomization, training & teaching coworkers web coding languages and presentations for sales representatives.

Job Description : To consistantly bring projects to completion before due date, under budget and with superior quality at the lowest possible cost to InteractOne.
Achievements: In three years, three projects out of over one hundred grew beyond the amount originally budgeted. Deadlines were met and client expectations were exceeded project after project. All clients remain with InteractOne for their website administration and maintenance. All client issues or concerns were quickly and efficiently resolved with the highest of praises for InteractOne from each client under my management.

Assigned Task: Design and direct development of a project management program for InteractOne.
Achievements: Designed and oversaw creation of a web-based program that speeds developer timesheet submission, monitors each developer's sucess on a per task basis within each project, creates and manages project budgets and calculates profits, performance and project scope while also preparing comprehensive reports used exclusively by InteractOne to perform payroll, billing and monitor profit and loss on a monthly basis.

Assigned Task: Create a project order form for salesmen to submit new project details to InteractOne.
Achievements: Designed and programmed an online form using extensive JavaScript to validate entries for each field which is now an integral part of InteractOne's client billing process.

Website Administrator & Webmaster
October 2001 - June 2004
Rainbow Treecare & Rainbow Treecare Scientific Advancements
Minnetonka, Minnesota
www.rainbowtreecare.com, www.rainbowscivance.com

Designed and maintained both current websites for the Rainbow group, as well as the two previous websites. The rainbowscivance.com website boasts an ASP/Access shopping cart, newsletter mailing program, supplier directory program and dynamic, database driven website menus, site maps and libraries. Each website is now able to perform all website maintenance in-house, using the programs and web-based administration options I created. Both website designs were created by Terri Mason (Devedia Graphics Manager), under my direction.

Most Recent Project: Design a website with a shopping cart, easily updated menus, multimedia content and optimize all for search engine placement.
Acheivements: All programs used on rainbowscivance are of my own design, with the shopping cart using an open source script, that I extensively modified and updated, to cut client costs as much as possible. The main site map is fully dynamic, using a database and FileSystem objects to present all available files and webpages to each user. Atomz search was chosen as the site search option for its efficiency in indexing ASP files and client budget considerations. Videos created by rainbowscivance.com and their affiliates were encoded for broadband and dial up speeds, and their powerpoint converted to a web viewable presentation, all meeting clients budget expectations and exceeding their expectations in performance and quality.
