It wasn't long when the first robotic army was created and then there were the "Robot Wars". It must have been horrific for men to find themselves fighting mechanical men who could not die. So many humans were killed in the war it was decided that the remaining humans should extend our lifetimes and I was asked to build a robot that could sustain a human life within it's frame.

Robots of this complexity were expensive to build and only the very rich were able to use them at first. I eventually became old and was installed into one of the most elaborate model robots so that I could continue my work and make even better robots. When my model of robot became obsolete, the companies manufacturing the robot parts refused to manufacture replacement parts for an obsolete model robot. My robot half was wearing out.
